The WILD story
We intervene only where it matters: to protect the fruit, express the site, and make balanced, honest wines. Beyond that, we let nature do the heavy lifting.
WILD is not about being uncontrolled or experimental for its own sake. It is about respecting natural systems, accepting vintage variation, and producing wines that feel alive rather than engineered.
Each of the four wines shares this philosophy, even though the styles differ.
The fox
The fox is a constant presence around the vineyard. It moves the land daily, usually unseen, always alert. It survives by observation, adaptation, and restraint rather than force.
That makes it an appropriate emblem for WILD. The fox represents:
- Intelligence over excess – careful decisions, not heavy-handed winemaking
- Adaptability – responding to each season rather than forcing uniformity
- Independence – wines shaped by place, not by formula
- Quiet confidence – character without noise
Like the fox, the wines are precise rather than showy. They reward attention rather than demand it.
